Expansion Through Integrations
A key milestone in our journey was our partnership with Shopify. Our app's launch on the Shopify App Store was the beginning of our expansion into the global e-commerce market.
Building on this momentum, we extended services to other major platforms, including eBay and Amazon, as well as various Japanese e-commerce sites, aiming to cater to a diverse range of online merchants. Additionally, our team explored integrations with international postal services from countries like France and Singapore to further support our global user base.
Partnering with Shipping Carriers in Japan
In December 2017, we raised money to accelerate Ship&co's development. This capital propelled API integrations with major Japanese carriers, such as Japan Post, Sagawa Express, and Yamato Transport B2 Cloud, which was unprecedented in Japan at the time.
"Ship&co got a contract to integrate with API from the two major shipping carriers in Japan — Yamato Transport and Sakawa Express — and because they don't have a public API, it took us about a year to discuss and negotiate with them to get access."
Today, Ship&Co stands as a practical and efficient solution in e-commerce logistics. Our focus remains on simplifying and improving shipping processes for businesses around the globe. Drawing inspiration from our beginnings, we continue to evolve, aiming to make global e-commerce logistics more accessible and manageable.
